For Your Windows

This morning during an educational moment at a business meeting, I was introduced to this example of a marketing strategy.  As a business owner and entrepreneur, I find this very thought provoking.

“Third Place” – From the very beginning, the Starbucks marketing strategy has focused on creating the “third place” for everyone to go to between home and work. Creating this unique and relaxing “experience” and “atmosphere” for people has been very important for the company as they have realized that this is one of the strongest concepts attached to the company, to which customers have been strongly attracted.

If you are promoting a business of your own, think of how you can use a concept like this in your own marketing strategies. Integrate those strategies with your underlying intentions so you can service your clients and customer even better. Please comment on your strategies.

Speaking of servicing customers, I think it is time to list a few more window cleaners. Remember, if I don’t list one in your area, just ask me. I bet I can find one.
